At Hum of the Earth, our daily work is centered around amplifying voices, paving career paths, and increasing visibility in society for individuals constituting marginalized populations.

We’re grateful & feel honored to focus our team-building on retaining diverse talent, diversifying leadership, acquiring diverse talent, increasing transparency around pay equity, and improving access to education about mobility & financial literacy resources.

OUR COMMITMENT: DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION

The main goal of DEI work is to restore power to people who have historically been separated from it.

The Mango Jam Official Music team continuously reflects on our work, the work of our audiences, and ourselves to ensure we are uplifting diverse voices, and offering access to tools, resources, and empowerment that marginalized people deserve — no matter what age, race, ethnicity, nationality, color, creed, class, religion, gender, gender conformity, sexual orientation, or ability.

Given our bent for environmental stewardship, we’re certainly conscious of the devastation of our planet, often in the pursuit of unmitigated profit.

The climate crisis deeply and disproportionately impacts the lives of people of color. As an aspiring B-Corp, our organization is wholly committed to operating sustainably & taking steps to minimize carbon emissions — doing what we can to protect the environment and people most affected by climate change.

We acknowledge that many communities continue to face discrimination, and feel that it remains necessary to underscore everyday violence Black & Brown humans endure, especially as perpetuated by deeply embedded systemic racism.

While it is certainly unfortunate to have to reiterate such a simple fact, nevertheless: Black Lives Matter.

This is a framework for continuously engaging with challenging conversations & subject matters — and we’re simply doing our part to promote an increasingly diverse, inclusive, and equitable community.
